Waiting!

We left Ruth for surgery about 2:30 this afternoon. The doctor said he would be out to talk to us sometime before 5pm. We are waiting and taking advantage of internet access! Will post after we talk to the doctor. Thank you so much for all your prayers!

    Hi Ruth,
    Hey darlin, you're running the marathon around the nurses' station- good for you. And I understand that some things have come to pass that you hoping for. Terrific. Look ahead a few days, not just yesterday, and rejoice over the gains you have made. Sometimes just looking day by day doesn't give you the perspective needed to know you are making great strides. I am out today to Target to do a little shopping for some things for next week. I start treatment on Feb. 2nd. Listen Ruth, Marty says, "you need to get home soon because the Super Bowl party is scheduled at your house next Sunday-correct?!". Will touch base a little later. Saw a really good movie last night with Kathy Hall and Cathy Cummings-Slumdog Millionaire. OK Ruth-it's gray and not so pretty out-good day for staying indoors. Love you. Jackie H
