Update 10/1- 12pm
Ruth is doing well considering how she was doing last week. On Monday she went in for an appointment to talk with Dr. Urquhart and they came to the conclusion to start chemo next Tuesday (10/6). She also recieved a blood transfusion as well as getting some blood work done. The blood results came back and they were not great but not the worst either. She is doing well but not great. Her echocardiogram came back and they are able to start chemo as her heart is in good condition. Not much other to report other than that. We appreciate your prayers as always and support.

Dear Ruth,
ReplyDeleteIt was so great to see you a few weeks ago. I am glad they were able to remove the fluid -- I love you and wish we were teaching together again. It was the best getting to talk to you everyday! Now we have email and that works, too.

Ruth,
ReplyDeleteI am so glad to hear that things are looking up, ever be it so slightly! I continue to be in prayer that you walk fully in His will as I know is your greatest desire. Your love and faithfulness is a blessing to all and especially to me. I love you!
Sandy
Thanks for the updates...we are with you from half a world away!
ReplyDeleteRuth,
ReplyDeleteYour strength is amazing and you are such an inspiration for us all! You are always in our prayers and thoughts. Thanks for the updates too.

Dear Bob, Ruth and Sarah,
ReplyDeleteWe continue to pray for each of you. Ruth, you are amazing in all that you do, especially not feeling well. Brian said he saw you at Wild West Day!
Did you decide to cancel the MD Anderson trip? I saw that you were going, but it doesn't sound as if you went.
We will be praying earnestly for you as you begin chemo tomorrow.
We have great admiration for how you fight this fight each day with grace and such dependence on our Lord. You are a great encouragement to us and so many others.
With love,
Michelle and Brian M
